PǑN-LA-MÁI

Thailand has an abundance of delicious tropical fruits. They are widely available and often cost next to nothing! Vendors sell already prepared pieces of pineapple, guava, ripe papaya, and mangos at virtually every street corner. Imported western fruits are also widely available, although they tend to cost a little bit more than local fruits. Here are some words for popular Thai and foreign fruits and how they are called in Thai. Once you are finished with this lesson, we have another lesson of more Thai words for fruit.
