After meeting with Margaret Peterlin of the U.S. Patent and Trade Office, Intellectual Property Department Director General Puangrat Asawapisit said that the U.S. government is sincere and ready to help Thailand cope with fighting piracy in all means. She said the U.S. government is willing to share information with Thai personnel, as well as provide knowledge and training on intellectual property supervision. Puangrat also said the department is preparing to send officials for training in the United States so that they can gain added knowledge and skills in addressing the piracy.
